Seems like we are in a stuck weather pattern lately (which isn’t all that bad). We have about 1-2 warmer days. Rain moves in on the warmest day. Then we drop temps for about 2 days with a dry out. Then it starts over. Yesterday, was the warm day with rain from the late morning onward.
A cold front moved through last night, and now we are cooling down.
Since the colder air just arrived recently, we weren’t bitterly cold this morning. However, there is a subtle wind-shift that is moving into the area. Behind this wind-shift the winds will pick up out of the northwest. They will run at 10-15mph with the gusts picking up to 25mph.
This will keep the temperatures from climbing much. High temps will only rise to the low-mid 40s this afternoon. It won’t be too bad if you can get out in the sun and out of the breeze. By tonight we’ll have clear skies and the winds will die down. Temps will drop to the 20s. By tomorrow we’ll have light southerly winds with partly cloudy skies. So temps will warm to the low-mid 50s in the afternoon. We’ll warm up more on Wednesday. Winds will increase out of the south ahead of the next cold front. High temps will warm to the 60s. However, the moisture will also increase. We’ll have a chance for some rain showers later in the day. They might even hold off until the evening. That would be good. I’ll have a better idea of the timing for that rain by tomorrow.
We’ll cool down again on Thursday. Highs will be back in the 40s. We’ll warm to the low 50s on Friday. Both days will be dry. We’ll be in the 50s on Saturday with only a slight chance for a showers. But of course…We’ll be in the 60s on Sunday with a higher chance for rain. Stay tuned for updates!
