I think many folks are getting tired of the chilly air… and the clouds… and the rain… I know I am. So good news! The weather will be improving soon. This morning we started with lots of clouds in the region.
It was slightly chilly with temps in the 40s. There is a weak area of low pressure to our southeast, and that created some showers overnight. It was down to a couple of coastal sprinkles this morning as the low moved farther offshore.
High pressure will build in from the west today, but there will still be a northerly breeze. So we will clear out this afternoon, but we won’t warm up too much. High temps will be in the upper 50s with a few 60s inland. The average high is 66 degrees for this time of year. By tomorrow the high will be overhead. So we’ll have lots of sunshine and less of a north breeze. Highs will be near 60. By Thursday we’ll have the winds out of the south. So high temps will be in the mid 70s. We’ll be mostly sunny. We’ll have highs in the upper 70s to low 80s going into and through the weekend. It will be very nice for a couple of days. There will be some rain late Sunday ahead of a cold front, but the rain may hold off until the evening. Stay tuned.
Pollen is moderate today, but it will rise to high by the end of the day. It will be high over the next few days. Mainly tree pollen, but grass will probably contribute by the weekend.
