We will dry out tonight. Skies will clear for about half of the viewing area.

Temperatures will drop today.  They started off in the mid 60s this morning. They will drop to the upper 40s by the afternoon. Winds will turn to out of the north through the morning.  They will run at 10-15mph with gusts up to 25mph.

By tomorrow we’ll be in the colder zone.  We’ll start off in the low-mid 30s with partly cloudy skies.  Clouds will try to push back north through the day.  There may be a couple of isolated showers over the Southside or northeast North Carolina, bu the chance is very low.  High temps will only rise into the mid 40s.  We’ll have breezy northeast winds.

We’ll warm up a little more on Wednesday.  Highs temps will rise to the 50s. We’ll have a few scattered showers.  By Thursday….Wow!  High temps will bounce back up to the low-mid 70s. We’ll have some scattered showers that day.  By Friday the next strong cold front will move through the region.  We’ll briefly warm to the upper 60s to near 70 in the morning. Then temps will drop through the day.  Rain is likely again.  Then the models dry things out by next weekend.  However, this time it looks colder.  Right now the models show highs in the 40s on Saturday.  50s on Sunday.  Stay tuned for updates!
