Weather
TOWER CAM_1534681396961.png.jpg

We’ll have a lot of clouds in the region today.  There is a cool front which has moved-in and stalled out just to our northwest.

While the front has stalled outside of the area, we will have some cooler air iin Hampton Roads today.  However, it will still be very humid.  After the rain showers last night we had a lot of clouds in the region this morning.

Tower Cam This Morning

We will be mostly cloudy today. There will be come peeks of sun, but clouds will be more prevalent.  We’ll have some isolated showers from the morning through the early afternoon.  Then we’ll have some scattered showers and storms develop later this afternoon into the evening. There could be a few heavy downpours.  It will be the clouds and showers that keep the temps down today.  Highs will be in the mid-upper 80s.  There may be a couple of 90s inland and south.  Winds will be light and out of the west/northwest.

We’ll have similar weather tomorrow except there will be an upper level pocket of energy directly overhead.  So we’ll have a better chance for rain and thunderstorms.  Highs will be in the mid 80s.  We’ll heat up a little on Tuesday.  Highs will be in the upper 80s. There will be a few showers and storms.  By Wednesday morning a cool front will move through the region. This will start to dry us out by Wednesday afternoon.  Highs will be in the mid 80s.  Then….Some very nice/fresh air will arrive later this week.  High temps on Thursday look like they’ll hit the upper 70s.  Yes, upper 70s for high temperatures.  I almost don’t want to say it, so that I don’t jinx it.  The humidity will also drop by then.  We’ll have lots of sunshine.  We’ll be dry and mild on Friday into next weekend as well.  It’s something to look forward to for sure.

Things are quiet in the tropics for now.
