Out of the past 8 days, 7 of them have had rainfall. We’ll add another one to the list for today as well! But this all comes to an end tomorrow. The soupiness in your backyard will have a chance to dry out. For today though, we are looking at rainfall across the region, pretty steady and heavy at times. If you need to head out, I would grab the umbrella but if your plans can wait until tomorrow, that would be the best day! Here’s a look at FutureTrak for later today.

Through Sunday morning we’ll see an additional 0.5-1.25″ of rain. Adding that on to the 2-3″ of rain we saw this past week, it could lead to some localized flooding in flood prone areas, but nothing widespread. Take your time on the roads today!

Today will be a washout, but tomorrow is a completely different story. We’ll start off with a few showers then those will clear out by late morning and sunshine will replace it into the afternoon! Finally some relief! And to top it all off, our high temperatures will be in the 70s. *happy dance*

The rest of the week looks pretty good! After a week filled with rain, it’s only fair to balance it out with a week full of sunshine, right? Well, that’s what Mother Nature is doing for us!

Enjoy your weekend! -Meteorologist Casey Lehecka
