After a stormy start to the work week, the weather is looking good the next couple of days! High pressure has moved back in and all across the east coast the weather is dry with plenty of sunshine.

It was a pretty cold start to the morning though! Most areas waking up in the low to mid 40s, but we will warm up pretty quickly into this afternoon with high temperatures in the upper 60s and low 70s! It will be a beautiful day ahead with plenty of sunshine.

The wind will switch to come in from the SW later this evening, and that will bring some warmer and more humid air for the second half of the work week. High temperatures into Thursday will climb into the low 80s!

We are keeping our eyes on a system for Friday into Saturday with the potential to bring more storms across the region. At this point looks like Friday afternoon and evening will be a washout with some scattered showers sticking around for Saturday morning but we’ll have a better idea when tomorrows model runs come out.

Saturday afternoon through Sunday will be dry and we’ll have plenty of sunshine! It looks like nice weather for Easter Weekend. -Meteorologist Casey Lehecka
