A cold front moved into the region last night. It was moving offshore this morning. We had a big area of rain last night, but now the showers are moving out to sea.
We’ll be drying out today. We’ll be cool and breezy with highs in the 60s. Dew points will drop to the 30s and 40s this afternoon. Skies will be partly cloudy. Winds will be out of the west/northwest at 10-15mph with gusts to 20mph. Then tonight winds will lighten up. We’ll be mostly clear with temps dropping to the 40s. There wll probably be a few 30s inland. Tomorrow we’ll be dry and a little cool for this time of year. High temps will be near 60 with lots of sunshine. By early next week we’ll have southerly winds returning. So high temps will rise back into the 70s. However, we’ll also have lots of moisture returning. We’ll have scattered showers on Monday as a trough forms along the coast. The European model is a little wetter than the others. Then on Tuesday the showers look more isolated. Hopefully, there’s not much rain around for election day. Stay tuned for updates!
Also, tonight is the night to turn the clocks back one hour. Don’t forget to do it before you go to bed.
