TEMPERATURE TREND_1531693575630.png.jpg

No complaints about this weekend – it was beautiful Saturday and Sunday!  Okay, I’ll accept a little griping about today since it was a little hotter and more humid, but it was still a decent day.

Maybe a perfect day for a wedding??

I’m not sure who this happy couple is, but sending them best wishes!  Happy our Surfline camera was able to capture this moment!

The only problem with this weekend has been the rip current risk for beach goers.  An onshore breeze coupled with Subtropical Storm Beryl caused the red flags to fly yesterday.  The rip current risk will still be moderate to high tomorrow.

If you’re worried about the rip currents, head up to the bay side of Norfolk or Virginia Beach, or even Buckroe Beach in Hampton!

We’ll be tracking a mix of high and mid-level clouds tomorrow.  Temperatures will top out in the low-90s with dewpoints back in the low-70s, so it’ll feel more like it’s in the mid to upper-90s.

Not much will change on Tuesday other than a cold front will approach the region late in the day.  Scattered showers and storms will pop up around evening commute time and continue into early Wednesday morning.  Behind that front, the mercury will fall into the mid-80s for the second half of the week.

Our pattern will be slightly unsettled late in the week into next weekend – no washouts, but we’ll be in and out of the showers.
