If you have any outdoor plans for today, keep them on the calendar! High pressure is in place and that means we’ll have a calm weather pattern for the next few days. The entire East coast looks pretty good, so if you’re traveling, there are no big storms to worry about.
Highs this afternoon will top off in the upper 60s, so it will be a fairly comfortable day with low humidity. Take advantage of this because we all know this will change in the coming weeks! There could be a stray shower this afternoon but that will be very isolated and light if anything.
The one lingering problem that Pungo and S. VA Beach has had the past day is the flooding due to the southerly winds. The wind is starting to shift today and the water has already started to receed so some relief will be headed their way today as well.
The week ahead looks pretty good! Dry weather in place for tomorrow with highs in the upper 60s but the heat and humidity return for Tuesday! We’ll be back to right around 80 degrees. Have a great Easter Sunday!
