A city detective and a federal agent described for the jury Friday how they detained Adrian Lewis at a Dulles Airport gate July 18, 2022. He had incriminating evidence inside his backpack. Lewis is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Shanita Eure-Lewis, although she has never been found. Eure-Lewis was never seen or heard from again after the morning of July 17, 2022.
