NORFOLK (WAVY) – It was a night to remember for Lakeland High School, as both the boys and girls basketball teams claimed region championships at Scope.
The Cavalier boys easily defeated Petersburg 63-48, and will head to the state tournament as the top seed. The Lady Cavaliers beat Booker T. Washington 52-39 to win their very first region title.
