We had a chilly start to the day, but we are going to start warming up nicely! Over the last couple of days we have had a persistent northeasterly breeze, and that kept things chilly. Now high pressure is sliding just a bit offshore. So our winds will be light and variable today.
This will allow for some nice warming today. The strong late-March sun will raise temps into the low-mid 60s with some 50s near the shore. The Bay temperatures is near 50 degrees right now.
Keep that in mind if you are going to try and do some boating or kayaking.
Tomorrow the area of high pressure will sit offshore, but close enough to keep our skies clear. We’ll have a southerly wind. So high temps will jump to the low 70s. We’ll be in the mid 70s on Saturday with fair skies.
Unfortunately, there will be a lot of rain moving in on Sunday. We’ll have rain for a big portion of the day. This as moisture streams up ahead of a cold front. At least it will stay mild. High temps will be near 70, but they may drop late in the day. High temps will return to the 50s by Monday. Stay tuned for updates. Enjoy the awesome weather ahead.
