After a few dry/chilly days, we are going to see warmer/wetter weather today. We started with temps already near 60 this morning. A warm front had already pushed to our north.
Temperatures will rise to the low-mid 70s this afternoon, but there will be quite a few rain showers moving in as well. We’ll have scattered rain showers through midday, with a little more coverage this afternoon.
There may be a few isolated thunderstorms as well. The breeze will be strong out of the south. It will run at 10-20mph with some gusts up to 30mph.
A cool front will move through the region early tomorrow. However, it’s not going to cool things down too much. High temps will still be in the low 60s. However, we’ll dry out nicely. We’ll have a mix of sun and clouds. We’ll cool down much more on Sunday with highs in the upper 40s. We’ll have a mix of sun and clouds again, but this time there will be a few isolated rain showers as well. Most of next week will be warm and wet. Highs will be in the 60s and 70s on Monday and Tuesday. Then mid 50s for mid-week.
I think we are continuing with the wacky weather that we started last year. So November’s weather was like December. Now December’s weather is like late October. We’ll probably stay warm for a bit longer. Then we’ll see what mid-late January will bring.
