Video

We are going to start and see the changes in the weather pattern today. Temperatures will start in the 50s this morning and quickly warm up to the low 80s by the early afternoon. Winds will drive in the warm air. Our wind speeds in the morning will be only 5-10 mph, but in the afternoon, likely at 10-20 mph. Gusts will probably be around 30 mph this afternoon. It will be a dry and sunny day. Tomorrow we won’t see the chances for the severe weather until likely after sunset, but we could see rain earlier:

The storms should move in to Hampton Roads between the times of 12 AM Saturday and 3 AM Saturday. This time, our risks for damaging wind gusts will be the main threat.

It’s still early and forecasting a line of severe weather is about as hard as it gets, so stay tuned to our forecast, because we will see changes to when we think it will move in, and what our main threats will be.
