You don’t have to worry about the weather putting a damper on your holiday cheer! High pressure has moved in and that means we will see plenty of sunshine over the next couple of days. Temperatures will be right around average, not too cold and not too hot! If the kids get any gifts from Santa that need to be used outside, it will be the perfect weather for that!

The weather for Christmas this year is right on track for average, but here’s a look at Christmas’ climatology! There’s a very slim chance for a White Christmas, just 5%, and we certainly won’t be seeing one this year. You’ll have to head north if you’re looking for some snow! Remember Christmas 2015? The warmest one on record, with the high temp at 79 degrees!

The rest of this week looks pretty good. The next chance of rain moves in at the end of the week, if you’ll be heading back into Hampton Roads on Friday it will be a soggy drive back! We’ll keep you updated on the timing and amount of rainfall over the next few days. Merry Christmas!
