CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) – The 2200 block of Battlefield Boulevard South was closed Thursday morning after the discovery of nails and screws in the road.
Officers responded to the scene to direct traffic and Public Works crews were contacted to remove the items from the road, according to the city.
There is no estimated time yet when the road will reopen.
