HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — A fire in a garbage truck in Hampton Monday caused crews to shut down S. Armistead Avenue.

Dispatchers said the fire happened around 4:35 p.m. near West Queen Street.

Dispatchers did not immediately have information about whether there were any injuries.
