Weather causes several high schools to postpone games

PORTSMOUTH (WAVY) — All high school football games involving teams from the Beach District, the Peninsula District and Bay Rivers District have been postponed because of weather.

Several games will still go on as planned, those games are:

Oscar Smith vs. Deep Creek (7:00)
King’s Fork vs. Indian River (7:00)
Granby vs. Booker T. Washington (7:00)
Churchland vs. Wilson (7:00)
Lakeland vs. Grassfield (7:00)
Maury vs. Norview (7:00)
Hickory at Great Bridge (7:00)
Greenbrier Christian vs. Hampton Roads Academy (7:00)
 

Rescheduled games for Saturday:

Denbigh vs. Kecoughtan at Darling Stadium (9:00 a.m.)
Lake Taylor at Norcom (11:00 a.m.)
Bayside at Ocean Lakes (12:00)
Cox at First Colonial (12:00)
Tallwood at Salem (1:00)
Landstown at Kellam (1:00)
Nansemond River at Western Branch (2:00)
Jamestown vs. York (2:00)

Rescheduled games for Monday:

Green Run at Kempsville (6:00)
Warwick vs. Heritage at Todd Stadium (7:00)
Lafayette at New Kent (7:00)

Rescheduled game for Tuesday:

Poquoson at Smithfield (7:00)
