(WAVY) — Various media outlets have confirmed that the Redskins have acquired former All-Pro safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix from the Green Bay Packers in exchange for a fourth-round draft pick.

A former first-round draft pick out of Alabama in 2014, Clinton-Dix is in the final year of his rookie contract and will be a free agent after this season.

He will join D.J. Swearinger, giving the Redskins two of the top safeties in the league.

Clinton-Dix is having another Pro-Bowl caliber season with 27 tackles, three interceptions and a forced fumble.

The Redskins are currently in first-place in the NFC East and they host the Falcons on Sunday.
