Monsters on the Beach: Friday, May 11 – Sunday, May 13

Monsters on the Beach is back. A course for these monster trucks is built right on the beach. Watch these massive trucks maneuver around sand dunes and junk cars at high speeds. You even have a chance to meet the drivers behind the wheel. It’s an experience for the entire family.

When: Friday, May 11 through Sunday, May 13. Times vary.
Where: 6th Street near Virginia Beach Boardwalk
Cost: $15 Admission for Advanced Purchase, $25 Day of purchase

Waterwalk at Central Park: Saturday, May 12

Waterwalk at Central park is a two-and-a-quarter mile path for pedestrians and bicyclists. You can get there from Coliseum Drive – convenient for shoppers, concert goers and area workers.  At the opposite end is Air Power Park. There will even be a wooden walk way overlooking Newmarket Creek.

When: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Where: Air Power Par
Cost: Free Admission

East Coast Music Conference: Thursday, May 10 – Sunday, May 13

The East Coast Music Conference is launching its inaugural year. Attendees can experience listening parties, intimate shows in non-traditional venues, rooftop shows and interactive, music-based activities.

When: Thursday, May 10 through Sunday, May 13. Times vary.
Where: Venues throughout Downtown Norfolk
Cost: Admission $24 and Up. Some events are free.
