Worker airlifted to hospital after construction fall in Williamsburg

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (WAVY) – A man was airlifted to the hospital after a construction accident on Saturday morning. 

Fire officials say the call came in at 7:35 a.m. for the accident at the Dewitt Wallace Decorative Art Museum. A man in his 20’s fell from an unknown height while working on the expansion of the museum and suffered serious, but not life-threatening injuries. 

The man was airlifted to a local hospital for treatment. There are no other details at this time.
