VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — A woman who threatened to blow up a 7-Eleven store in Virginia Beach will serve one year in prison.

Crystal Mostek entered a plea of no contest back in January.

Authorities said Mostek walked into the location on Pleasure House Road in April 2018, placed a device on the counter and told the clerk it was a bomb, before threatening to blow it up.

It was later determined the device was not a bomb.

Mostek was sentenced in Virginia Beach Circuit Court to five years in prison with four years suspended.
