WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (WAVY) — A woman was airlifted to VCU Medical Center in Richmond after being hit by a car in the parking lot of the Williamsburg Premium Outlets on Saturday. 

According to James City County Police, the call for the accident came in around 5:30 p.m. 

The victim was transported with head injuries, police say. The extent of her injuries is unknown at this time.
