Williamsburg police make contact with owner in dog bite incident

UPDATE (May 2): Police say they have made contact with the owner of the dogs.

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (WAVY) – Williamsburg police are asking for the public’s help to identify a woman whose dog reportedly bit someone Sunday morning.

Officials say she was walking her dogs in the area of Mill Neck Road — in the Berkeley Hills section of the city — when one of the dogs bit a person.

Police say they want to talk to the woman about what happened. They released a picture of her. If you know who she is, please call police right away at 757-220-2331.
