VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Virginia Beach police are investigating after a credit union was robbed for the second time in two weeks.

The robbery happened around 3:47 p.m. Monday at the Bayport Credit Union at 5225 Providence Road, in the Providence Road Shopping Center.

The same location was just robbed on May 24 by a male suspect who left the scene in a smaller model white pickup truck.

Police haven’t confirmed whether the suspect in that case struck again, but the investigation is in its early stages.

No one was injured and the suspect fled on foot.
