ARLINGTON, TX (WAVY) – The Minnesota Vikings gave Norfolk’s Jalyn Holmes the call he’d waited for, worked for and dreamed of his whole life, selecting the Lake Taylor graduate with the 102nd overall pick in the fourth round of the NFL Draft.

Holmes is a disruptive defensive end who helped Ohio State win the 2015 National Championship.

The Vikings announced the pick to the nation in a rather creative way, utilizing an Olympic gold medalist.
