CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — One truck’s engine problems created a thick cloud of smoke Tuesday afternoon along Interstate 64 in Chesapeake.
WAVY viewer Anthony Heath captured video showing a heavy amount of smoke spewing out of a tractor-trailer pulled off the side of the road. This happened on I-64, just past the Battlefield Boulevard exit.
Capt. Steven Bradley with the Chesapeake Fire Department told WAVY.com peeled off to the side after suffering a blown turbo.
Bradley said the situation created no hazards for other drivers.
