HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — Surveillance video shared with 10 On Your Side shows a man stealing a purse from a Sentara Nursing facility in Hampton.
On June 23, officers responded to the Sentara Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in the 2200 block of Executive Drive in reference to a larceny complaint.
The victim, a 32-year-old Hampton woman, told them she placed her purse at the back of the nursing station when she arrived at work that day, but later noticed it was not where she had left it .
Police opened an investigation into the theft.
The suspect in this incident is described as a middle aged black male with gray chin hair.
At the time of the crime, he was wearing a maroon ball cap with a white bill, a multi-colored striped short sleeved t-shirt, khaki shorts and dark high top tennis shoes, as seen on video.
