VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Personal property tax bills are due Tuesday, June 5 for Virginia Beach residents.
However, for the 20th consecutive year, Commissioner of the Revenue Phil Kellam has set up a drive-thru appeals process to allow residents to appeal their assessment.
The drive-thru is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and has been relocated. Follow the signs to the Landstown Road entrance at the Princess Anne Athletic Complex on Dam Neck Road.
The drive-thru appeals process will run through Friday, June 8.
If you have already paid your personal property bill — you can still appeal and will receive a refund if the assessment is lowered.
