Va. Beach Police investigating two 7-Eleven robberies

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Police in Virginia Beach are investigating two overnight 7-Eleven robberies. 

Officials say the first robbery occurred at the 7-Eleven in the 4600 block of Princess Anne Road at 2 a.m. The second robbery happened at 2:36 a.m. at the 7-Eleven in the 2100 block of Salem Road. 

Police learned that in both robberies that two suspects with weapons entered the store, and obtained an unclosed amount of money from the register, and stole cigarettes. Both suspects fled the scene on foot from each robbery.

No injuries were reported. Police have not confirmed whether the two robberies are connected.
