Va. Beach police investigating attempted burglary at auto repair shop

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Detectives are investigating an attempted burglary at an auto repair shop on Lynnhaven Parkway. 

On January 14, employees of the Beacon Auto Repair in the 1100 block of Lynnhaven Parkway told police a person attempted to get into the business by damaging the lock on the business door. 

The suspect was seen on video attempting to steal metal from the side of the building. They were also seen entering a vehicle that appeared to be a red Ford F-180 with damage to the passenger side and a different color driver side quarter panel.
