USS Jason Dunham returning home this Friday

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Sailors aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Jason Dunham are set to return home to Norfolk in time for the holidays.

U.S. Navy officials said the Dunham will pull into port at Naval Station Norfolk on Friday, Dec. 21. The Dunham has spent the last seven months Navy’s U.S. 5th and 6th Fleet areas of operation.

The ship’s homecoming will come a handful of days after thousands of sailors with the USS Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group returned home.
