U.S. 58 Bypass in Suffolk reopens after two-vehicle crash

SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Suffolk Police and firefighters are investigating a traffic accident that shut down Holland Road at Route 58 Bypass Sunday night.

About 11:19 p.m.Sunday, police said a car and tractor-trailer that were traveling next to each collided. Police said the car and tractor trailer were traveling next to each other.

Police believe the crash happened when one vehicle side swiped another.  The tractor-trailer overturned and spilled farm feed on the road.  No one was hurt, according to police.

The road reopened around 3:30 a.m. Monday.
