NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Norfolk police were called into action to help one of the city’s smallest residents on Monday.

Two officers had to rescue a turtle — as it was hiding out under a parked car.

The department tweeted out the pictures of Officer Sheetz and Officer Wiltshire-Allen with the turtle, who got dropped off at a safer, more turtle-friendly location.
