PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — The trial for a man accused of throwing a Molotov cocktail at a police cruiser is now set for December.

Ethan Scott  had his bond revoked at a hearing on Wednesday.

Scott was arrested in November 2017 shortly after the cocktail was thrown at a cruiser, causing it to catch fire. Police charged him with attempted capital murder on a law enforcement officer, use of bomb and arson.

A judge ruled in March that there was enough evidence for the case to proceed to a trial.

Scott’s trial has been set for Dec. 5, 2018.

CORRECTION: A previous version of this story erroneously reported that Scott was granted bond on Oct. 24, 2018.
