Top-ranked Bishop Sullivan once again faces high expectations

News

VIRGINIA BEACH (WAVY) – A glance at their 7-5 record might indicate that Bishop Sullivan Catholic “struggled” last season. Ask head coach Chris Scott, he’ll say he was pretty pleased considering his team’s “unprecedented” schedule.

“Every team we lost two is in the top 25 or the top 50 coming out this year…Every single one of those teams we lost to is either a state semi-finalist or a state champion,” said Scott.

His team is re-loaded, ranked as the top prep team in Virginia, and out to contend for a title.

“I want to go undefeated,” said sophomore quarterback Colt Minson. “I want to win every ball game we play, and I think we can do it. There’s no reason we shouldn’t be able to do it.”
