CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — Trekking across the South Norfolk Jordan Bridge will be 10 cents more expensive in 2019.
Jordan Bridge officials say the EZ-Pass toll rate for passenger cars — vehicles with two axles — will be $2.45 during off-peak and peak hours.
Drivers with heavy vehicles — those will three or more axles — will see EZ-Pass tolls of $5.35 during off-peak hours, and $8.75 during peak hours.
Those who don’t have an EZ-Pass, will see $2.80 added to the passenger vehicle base rate and $3.55 added to the heavy vehicle rate.

Toll rates are also going up at the Midtown and Downtown tunnels between Portsmouth and Norfolk. Drivers with passenger vehicles will see a 6-cent increase.
Enrollment is underway for the Virginia Department of Transportation’s Toll Relief Program, which gives which helps certain residents who use the tunnels every day.
The new tolls for all three roads will go into effect Jan. 1.
