Suspects steal steak, seafood and televisions from local Walmart

YORK COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) — Deputies in York County are investigating two different thefts that happened at the same Walmart over the past two months.

According to the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office, the first happened Sept. 14.

Deputies say a woman spotted on security cameras stole steak and seafood, among other items, from the location on George Washington Memorial Highway.

She reportedly left the store in a black Hyundai SUV driven by a man.

The second theft happened on Halloween, when deputies say a man went into the store several times and stole TVs from the store.

According to deputies — the man is also a suspect in similar crimes at a York County Kmart.

After leaving the Walmart, deputies say he drover in an olive green late 90’s ford explorer.

If you have information on either robbery or know the identity of the suspects, call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
