Suspected Bloods member spotted in Norfolk considered ‘Hampton Roads’ Most Wanted’

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — U.S. Marshals are asking for your help to locate a man they say is not only a known Bloods gang member, but a suspect they’re calling Hampton Roads’ Most Wanted.

Yasir Malik Smith, 20, is wanted for multiple charges out of three cities, including two counts of attempted murder in Suffolk. He also has warrants out for his arrest in Chesapeake and Norfolk for several drug and firearm related charges. 

He was last seen Monday afternoon in a black Mercedes with Virginia license plate UZT-8346 near the intersection of East Princess Anne and Ballentine Boulevard in Norfolk, and was able to escape a police pursuit, Marshals say. They add he’s also known to drive stolen vehicles and switch license plates.

Smith is described as about 150 pounds and 6 feet tall. He is most recognizable for a large “W” tattooed on his neck.
