Suspect arrested in connection to arson in Norfolk

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A suspect was arrested Monday morning in connection to an arson in Norfolk.

Officials with Norfolk Fire-Rescue said the fire happened on E. Onley Road, just off St. Pauls Boulevard.

The suspect was picked up walking more than a half mile away along Henry and Wide Streets. Charges against the suspect are pending.

Officials said in a tweet Monday morning that smoke and flames were visible when firefighers arrived.
