ARLINGTON, TX (WAVY) – Another Hampton Roads product heard his name called in the 2018 NFL Draft on Saturday evening.

The reigning Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles selected Chesapeake’s Josh Sweat (Oscar Smith High School) with the 130th overall pick in the fourth round.

The Kansas City Chiefs took Virginia Beach’s Derrick Nnadi (Ocean Lakes High School) in Friday’s third round.

In three years at Florida State, Sweat proved to be a disruptive defensive end, totaling 29 tackles for loss and 14.5 sacks. Should the former high school All-American find his way to the Eagles 53-man roster, he could add to one of the top pass-rushing units in the NFL.
