Suffolk police investigating two overnight robberies

News

SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Suffolk police are trying to find robbers in two business holdups that are believed to be separate incidents.

The first robbery happened Tuesday at 12:50 a.m. at McDonald’s on 1513 Holland Road. Officers said two people pulled guns and took off with money. No one was hurt in the robbery.

The second robbery happened about 15 minutes later at 7-Eleven on 853 Carolina Road.

Offices said four people showed guns and also took off with money.

Investigators do not think they are connected at this time because of the time each robbery happened and the distance between the businesses.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Line at 1-888-Lock-U-UP.
