SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – Suffolk Fire and Rescue responded to a gas leak Saturday morning.
Emergency communications were contacted at 11:10 a.m. after a contractor working in the area in the 200 block of Highland Avenue reported a nick in a residential low pressure line while replacing existing gas lines.
The roadway was blocked and a section of the Kingsboro neighborhood was blocked off for nearly an hour.
The scene has since cleared.
