NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A plane was forced to make an emergency landing Tuesday morning at Norfolk International Airport.

Airport spokesman Steve Sterling said the plane, a small, multi-engine MU2 aircraft, lost operation in one of its engines, but was still able to safely land around after 8:45 a.m.

Four passengers were on board the plane, but no injuries were reported.

The emergency landing did not cause any delays to regularly scheduled flights and departures from the airport, Sterling said.
