JAMES CITY COUNTY, Va (WAVY) — Multiple charges against a Navy sailor accused of running naked in the Busch Gardens parking lot and assaulting a police officer have been withdrawn.

Prosecutors withdrew — or nolle prossed — charges including indecent exposure and profane swearing and intoxication in public against Adrian Cardenas in court on Tuesday, Dec. 18.

An assault on a law enforcement officer charge against Cardenas was certified by a grand jury.

Viewer video from September showed the alleged incident in the Germany Parking lot of Busch Gardens.

A responding officer tased Cardenas, and arrested him with the help of Good Samaritans.

Navy officials said Cardenas was assigned to the USS George H.W. Bush at the time of the incident.
