School in Norfolk goes on precautionary lockdown following bomb threat

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A middle school in Norfolk went on a precautionary lockdown following a bomb threat, police say.

Norfolk police said in a tweet the bomb threat was reported at Northside Middle.

The tweet said the school has since been cleared and has returned to normal operations. No other details were immediately available.
