UPDATE (June 21, 2018): Police say 16-year old Lucas B. Brandt was found safe in Virginia Beach Wednesday night, and has been returned to his family.

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Detectives in Portsmouth say they need the public’s help to find a teen who ran away from home on Monday night.

Lucas B. Brandt, 16, was last seen leaving his home in the 4600 block of Southampton Arch just before midnight, according to detectives. Brandt hasn’t been in contact with family members since then, and police say they’re concerned for his well-being because he suffers from a medical condition requiring medication — which is not with him.

He’s described as 6 feet tall and approximately 130 pounds. He was last seen wearing black pants and a blue polo shirt.

Anyone with information on Brandt’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Portsmouth Police Department at 757-3939-5300 or the Crime Line at 1-888-562-5887.
