Recycling truck catches fire in Newport News

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) — No injuries have been reported after a recycling truck caught fire near an intersection in Newport News Tuesday morning.

Newport News dispatch says the incident was reported just before 10:30 a.m. near Brick Kiln Boulevard and Jefferson Avenue.

Video from a WAVY viewer showed a cloud of smoke rising from the truck.
