VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Lori of Virginia Beach arrived home on Friday expecting a small package from a neighbor.
When she arrived, she found that it had been stolen. Mortified, she checked her Ring camera to catch the suspect in the act. After a short search, she realized her investigation might not go much further.
The box of cookies seemed to have been snatched by a furry animal scurrying on all fours; presumably an opossum! After sharing the discovery with friends and family, they were able to laugh over the missing box of treats.
As always, police urge you to be weary of ‘real-life’ porch pirates and keep an eye out for packages.
