CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — Police say two people died after a car collided into a tree Saturday night.
Chesapeake Police received a call for the accident around 10 p.m.
The initial police investigation revealed a silver Jaguar with two occupants was traveling along Paramont Avenue when it left the roadway, and ran into a tree.
Firefighters and medics responded to the scene and determined both people died as a result of the collision.
Police later determined the second person who died, a woman, was thrown from the car during the crash.
